Teeth Whitening

Up to 8 shades whiter in 60 minutes — with little to no sensitivity.

Professional Teeth Whitening in Lahore

At ORA FIX Dentistry, we offer Lahore's most comfortable in-office teeth whitening experience. Our 60-minute chair-side treatment uses a dental-grade whitening system approved by Health Canada — delivering noticeably brighter results without the guesswork or gimmicks of take-home kits.

Unlike many whitening systems, we do not use ultraviolet (UV) light or heat to activate the gel. This means dramatically reduced sensitivity, making it suitable even for patients with naturally sensitive teeth.

What to Expect

  • Pre-Treatment Assessment — Your hygienist assesses your current tooth shade and discusses your whitening goals. We photograph your smile so you can see the before-and-after difference.
  • Gum Protection — A barrier is applied to protect your gums and soft tissue throughout the treatment.
  • Gel Application — Professional-grade whitening gel is applied carefully to the surfaces of your teeth.
  • Treatment — The gel is left to work for a prescribed period. Most patients read, browse their phone, or simply relax during this time.
  • Reveal & Care Instructions — After treatment, we photograph your smile again, reveal your results, and coach you on how to maintain your new shade.

Tip for best results: Have a professional dental cleaning done before your whitening appointment. Clean teeth respond significantly better to whitening treatment. Ask us about combining both in one visit.

Teeth Whitening — Frequently Asked Questions

Is teeth whitening right for me?

Professional whitening is suitable for most adults with healthy teeth and gums. It works best on natural tooth enamel. Whitening does not change the colour of dental restorations (crowns, veneers, bonding), so if you have prominent restorations in your smile zone, we'll discuss whether whitening is the best choice for your specific situation.

When is a good time to whiten my teeth?

There's never a bad time — but many patients choose to whiten before a major event such as a wedding, reunion, job interview, or graduation. We recommend scheduling your cleaning first so the whitening can work on a freshly cleaned surface for optimal results.

How many shades whiter can I expect?

Results vary from person to person based on the natural colour of your enamel, any previous whitening you may have had, and lifestyle factors (coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco). Most patients achieve between 2 and 8 shades of improvement in a single session.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. All products used at ORA FIX Dentistry are approved by Health Canada and administered by a licensed dental hygienist. We do not use UV or heat-based activation, which are the primary causes of sensitivity in other whitening systems. Whitening has been clinically studied for decades and is considered a safe, non-invasive cosmetic procedure.

Will it hurt?

The vast majority of our patients experience little to no discomfort. Some people notice mild, temporary sensitivity in the hours following treatment — this typically resolves within 24 to 48 hours. If you already have sensitive teeth, let us know beforehand; we have protocols to minimise discomfort further.

How long will my results last?

With good oral hygiene and some care with staining foods and beverages, your results can last 12 to 18 months or longer. Many patients choose to do a brief touch-up treatment annually to maintain their shade.

What should I do before my appointment?

Brush and floss as normal before your appointment. Avoid consuming heavily pigmented foods (berries, tomato sauce, curry, coffee, red wine) for 24 hours prior if possible. Arrive with clean teeth — or book a cleaning in the same visit.

What should I do after my whitening treatment?

For the first 48 hours after whitening, avoid staining foods and drinks, tobacco, and acidic beverages. Your enamel is temporarily more porous right after treatment and is more susceptible to re-staining. Drink water, eat white or light-coloured foods, and use a straw for any coloured beverages.
